Steven Zimmet, M.D.
Dr. Steven Zimmet is the immediate Past-President of the American College of Phlebology. He
has won two research awards in the field. Dr. Zimmet has authored peer-reviewed journal
publications on sclerotherapy, endovenous laser treatment, varicose veins and other venous
conditions and treatments. Dr. Zimmet has published invited textbook chapters on endovenous
ablation and on the principles of treatment of varicose veins. Dr. Zimmet has given numerous
invited presentations on venous disease at medical conferences around the world. He graduated
in 1978 from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his residency in 1981 at
the Department of Family Medicine, Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He is Board Certified
by the American Board of Family Practice, and is the Medical Director of Zimmet Vein &
Dermatology of Austin, TX.

Neil Sadick, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Neil Sadick is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Cornell
University Medical College. He has authored 185 publications
and has written books on hair disorders, sclerotherapy
and cosmetic surgery as well as 38 book chapters on
adult and pediatric retroviral infections, hair transplantation,
lasers and sclerotherapy. He is the past president
of the Manhattan Dermatology Society, the New York
Academy of Medicine and the Dermatologic Society of
Greater New York. He is a past President of the American
College of Phlebology and serves on the Board of Directors
of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He
is also on the Board of Directors of the Cosmetic Surgery
Foundation and is Vice-Chairman of the Dermatology
Foundation.

Mark E. Skellenger, M.D.
Dr. Skellenger is Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and
has been in the practice of treating vascular disease
since 1981. The native Houstonian completed medical
school at Baylor College of Medicine in 1976, and trained
in vascular surgery under Dr. Michael E. DeBakey until
1981. He remains a clinical faculty member in the Michael
E. DeBakey Department of Surgery in the Texas Medical
Center. He is an expert in percutaneous techniques
using ultrasonic guidance which has revolutionized
the treatment of venous disease. Dr. Skellenger has
been a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons since
1984.

Gregory B. Snyder M.D.
Dr. Gregory Snyder is the founder and Medical Director
of Minnesota Radiology, as well as the Vascular Treatment
Center of Edina, MN. Dr. Snyder is a researcher and
Assistant Clinical Professor for the Department of
Interventional Radiology, University of Minnesota Hospital.
He is a published author of many scientific papers,
including research on Mirizzi’s Syndrome and
other topics in the fields of Radiology and Immunology.
He has also patented several new technologies in the
field of radiology. His Vascular Treatment Center specializes
in endoluminal, non-invasive and all other vascular
therapies. Minnesota Radiology specializes in diagnostic
and preventive imaging.
